Ok I just bought this 01' XJ, it came with an oldmanemu 2" suspension kit. I noticed when I make hard turns theres a loud squeek up front (kinda embarassing if theres people). Im not automotive retarded, or offroad retarded, but as far as jeep parts/offroad parts most is new to me. I got the jeep in the air and checked out the front suspension parts, everything was in tact, but where the disconnect piece connects to the sway bar end, isnt tight, its loose (its not gonna go anywhere though). Im just wondering if the ends are supposed to be loose like that or not?

 

Disconnect tend to b loose, when load is off the suspension. Squeek is probably tire rubbing somewhere or bad U-joints.

 

Not trying to outsmart here or anything, but I know for a fact its the disconnects that are making the noise, when i shake them around with my hand it makes the same noise

 

Then change the bushings in the disconnects. OR lubicate the squeeking part.
