I have a 2000 Cherokee that I'm redoing. The seats are shot. I'm having trouble finding replacements. Any idea on what to use? Are there other models that would work with the XJ?

Understood. Try typing in "XJ seat swap" and check out the "Budget Build/Junkyard Thread".

zj bolt in the wj can fit but you gotta do a little work,If you have money to burn you can buy brand new aftermarket ones that bolt in.

I may give the ZJ's a shot. There seems to be more of those around than others. What years should I be looking at to match up to my '00 XJ?

Any year zj but just remember they come power and manual so if you need manual seats might take a while most are power.

I was going to do this once then for some reason I just didn't... Do the xj brackets bolt up to the WJ seats? or do you have to fab up some small pieces to get it to work?

One of the last pages of my build thread has a small write-up on manual XJ to power ZJ seat swap. If you have any questions PM me.

The search function is terrible on here, everyone knows that.

I've never once had a single search problem in over 3 yrs. Then again, I'm using a laptop to avoid that issue.
