Default xj roof rack
looking to add a roof rack to my xj it is a 1996 it does not have a roff rack fom factory just a flat roof does anyonee know how to add a roof rack to one?

They have some that attach to the gutters

I decided against one, but did a bit of research recently for myself on the topic. Gutter clamp style mounts are preferred. It's actually good you don't have the factory rails.
