i understand where ur coming from and that its not the correct way but mine were just as simple as swap in the hid bulbs no glue im really not sure what their deal was. if u buy ebay headlights all u have to do is swap in them with the hid bulbs and aim them down there wasnt any glue involved lol

So i guess in a sense 5k is "brighter" because of the whiteness of the light is easier seen by our eyes. Sorry, im bad about bringing up technicalities (however i doubt i spelt that correctly)

lower the number of K brighter they are iirc its just the color that makes them have less "usable" output.

You are correct. was just about to edit my post after i did some researching, guess thats what i get for listening to my dumbass friends who apparently dont know as much about hid's as i thought I guess you learn something new everyday

and that is very interesting information, so if i get some 12000k hid's then they classify as a blacklight? because i found one once because i thought those numbers related to brightness, wonder what i could see with those on my jeep probably alot i wouldnt want to see

Sometimes it's best to get a color that doesn't attract too much attention as aftermarket HID's are technically illegal.

Decided to go with the crystal clear ones with 6000k bulbs
