Unhappy xj door removal

I've read everything about door removal. I've got the door off, NOW what's he easiest way to get it back on??? Any suggestions? I'm having a heck of a time!!

Get some pins that will fit tight and push em in, grind the top until you can slide them in and out easy enough

Should be a matter of just lining up the pins with the holes and dropping the door down. It's a whole lot easier with an extra set of hands helping line up the pins though.

Whatever you do don't actually unbolt the hinge from the door. It's a nightmare trying to get the door lined back up as it can move freely up and down and side to side with a great deal of travel.

If You already cut the bottoms of the hinges off, then you have to weld the half pins to the top of the door hinge. If you use bolts or removable pins they will sag when open without thw bottom part of the hinge.

It still should work the same, from what I read on a write up on jerpforum on the pre 96 xj's you just cut bottoms off, leave pins and it should work like the 97-01 just the newer ones the pillars in the way so you have to cut top pin shorter

Thanks (I cut pins shorter and was able to install door myself Door is heavy as hell but was able to do it i would be better with two people
