Default XJ coil spacers

Hi folks, I've been looking at fitting a pair of coil spacers to the front of my XJ. With so many suppliers/manufacturers claiming to be the best I reckon the best advice will be from the people who use them. So which is better, POLY, Delrin or Alloy?
Any advice will be gratefully recieved,
Cheers
Mick.

Cheers LOLZ, that was my first guess, there's just so many different types and over here in the UK, individual coil spacers seem to be like gold dust! I'm gathering as much info as i can before shipping a pair over.
Thanks
Mick

Agreed, poly the best. Have a word with David at Llama 4x4, he might have them in stock.

How much did you want to lift by?

Hi Rob, I think about 50mm, I changed the rear leafs as the originals had started to bow the wrong way. I had toyed with a full lift kit but as I use the XJ more on the road than off (sad eh?) I went for "std" leafs. The difference is phenomenal!!! I got new coils from the same supplier to hopefully level her out but after fitting them this weekend there is no difference at the front. I have been told the leafs will settle but I' m not sure they will drop enough. I'll give Llama a call next week.
Cheers
Mick

When I first lifted the jeep, I used 1" spacers and diesel springs to give me 1.75".

How high are your arches from wheel centres? Standard height is 17.5" front, 17" rear.

Rear sitting at around 21" at the moment, front I can't measure as I don't have the wheels on or the axle fully installed.

IMO Delrin is better than poly. I have used both and the poly spacers over time squish and you get less and less lift. The Delrin spacers I ordered were exactly 2" while most poly spacers are only 1 3/4" and they squish down to less.

Thats a good idea assuming he can get the washers and pipe to make it or have a welder. I bought 2" delrin spacers for 40 bucks shipped.

Thats a 4" lift on standard leafs! How many leafs in the pack? 4 or 5?

Rob the leafs are 4 pack, I was told they are standard but it does seem a bit extreme, cheap lift so far although if they don't settle am I into the territory of slip yolk eliminators etc...........

OME makes a actual 2" coil spacer. Not a 1.75. I want them with ironman hd adjustable shackle for an around 5".
