Okay so i did a 2 inch lift on my xj using zj v8 coils an extra isolator and the main from an xj donor pack with its eyes cut off.

Now i want more. I have found a set of 3.5 inch lift coils for front and am wondering if adding another leaf from my donor pack in the rear would bring up the rear end more than just the thickness of the leaf. I dont want to use shackles as my thought process is if i want more lift from that point to add a 2 inch spacer and shackle to be around 5.5.

Thinking that i should have just used an s10 for a donor leaf pack instead of another xj. O well. Big thing i like about the setup i have now is the ride quality did not seem to diminish. Actually improved as i added new shocks to replace the old worn ones.

Trial & error when you deal with adding JY leaves.

 

i had the s10 basterd pack it was to stiff for my likeing and i drive dump trucks for living on that note im at 4" of lift and rear set up is some stock leafs that are flat some 2" lift shackles i got from the junk yard and liquid iron shackle relocation boxes the ride is better then stock and the flex is grate

 

My xj/xj bastard pack brought me up to 3". Toss a shackle on and you're done.

 

Comanche shackle is suppose to be good for 1 in. of lift.
