so i bought a 98 jeep xj with a 6 inch lift runnong on 35s. What should i upgrade first underneath being as its all stock and probally cant handle the lift and tires very well

One of the first things I'd check is the steering box mount and frame in that area to see what you've got...There's various manufacturers to upgrade/stabilize the box and mounts... Do a search on here you'll have plenty to read on the subject..
