So I have been looking around at ax-15's to swap into my cherokee for a year or so now, and have found that it is much easier to find one from a wrangler. I know the wranglers are clocked more making the t case stick up higher, which requires you to beat in the tranny hump a bit to make room. What I am wondering is if anyone has done this and knows exactly how much hammering will be needed, if it causes issues with the seats or anything inside the cab, and if there is anything else entailed when using a tranny from a wrangler. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance

So im guessing you mean you have to pound in the tranny hump 1.5 inches? And when you say the t case linkage you mean the part that mounts between the tranny and the tranny hump that attaches to the 4wd lever, or just the bar that goes from that shaft to the t case linkage?
