i never understood throttle body spacers... in carb'd vehicles yes... more volume for the fuel/air mix... even throttle body EFI... but the injectors spray the fuel almost right before the intake valves...

Put that money towards something useful. Like a lift, tires, beefed up steering and breaking parts, new ignition components, lockers, skids, bumpers, tools.. Basically anything but that paper weight!

I will agree with the previous responses.
Some people claim to get a bit better throttle response.... and a neat whistle sound.

Umm.. The only neat whistle noise I know of it from forced induction. Haha.. Other than the loose bolt at the back of my manifold..Originally Posted by prerunner1982

i can think of one instance when i would use a TB spacer... i have renix, so a 99+ intake doesnt mate too well to a renix TB. instead of paying $60 for an adapter so my TPS would work with an HO TB, turn that spacer into an adapter.

The po put one on my jeep. It shiny red color looks pretty good on my desk and works pretty well as a paper weight/change holder.

If I push down the skinny pedal just right I'll get a whistle out of my bored throttle body and it sounds exactly like forced induction haha.Originally Posted by VTJeep
