Jerrythejeep.. One of the things I question is flow but Im not sure how to gow about checking how much I have. I did nothing to change the spark and I am running 87 octane. What do you suggest should be changed with the spark?

Slap the stock radiator & mechanical fan with a shroud back in it and see what happens. Have you pressure tested the cooling system?

Don't think that's enough .....Stock clutch fan pulls around 4,000 at 2,000 rpm if I recall.

Id pull the tstat, take the upper radiator hose off the radiator and stick it in the overflow bottle. Have a friend run the motor for like 2 seconds and observe the flow. You'll want to double check what way the coolant flows, I'm not sure if that's right direction.

As for the mixture/compression spark debate, I have no clue. What little I read on strokers told me that it's much more complex than just getting the extra compression. I can picture it in my head, but think of it like this: your motor is like an equation. If you change one factor, you have to change the others so the end result is more or less the same.

I'm talking out of my ***. Someone professional chime in
