I have a new RC track bar and bracket, bought 2 accidentally (dont ask). Looks like you are in NY, I'm in Putnam County, let me know if you want to buy it (pm me for price and pics). http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xtras_1079.html

I have a 2000 XJ with 4" on it...death wobble was an issue as well. Frustrating trying to find the issue, after a few posts to the forums and multiple alignments later we traced it down to the trackbar relocation bracket. I replaced it with a HD adjustable track bar and haven't had an issue since.

Keep us updated... I got the same problem on my 97 Cherokee. Did a 3.5 inch lift and got the death wobble when I hit a pot hole on the highway. I've had 3 alignments done... Castor and Toe are set and still have the issue. EVERYTHING is tight on the front end. I'm going back to the original idea that my track bar is warn or off.

hmm, I'm still having this same problem with my 2K1... seems to be getting worse. I DID put a new adj track bar on it, too...

Are there any chain shops you can take it to, like a Les Schwab, who'd look at stuff like that for you from a more professional perspective and find things that you might be missing? I'm getting sick of experiencing it and am really NOT wanting to screw up my driveline or whatnot. =\

if you have an iphone, itouch, or some android phones, get an accurate angle finder app. then check your caster (5-7.5degrees) and then check your drag link and track bar angles (they should be the same)

yeah did that got 6 deg used the clinometer or something like that worked good. Thinking possibly going with a heavy duty steering upgrade the stock tie rod and drag link, it looks so small and weak under there. Thought i read something about upgrading to zj tie rods and drag link?

upgrading from the stock inverted y steering setup to a solid tie rod and drag link is a good idea.
the v8 zj is a good upgrade, or almost any aftermarket setup, but stay away from the currie kit, it's just a heavy duty stock y setup, and doesn't have a replaceable outer tie rod end, which can be expensive when it wears out.

it is very easy to build what you need with the right weld in bungs available from TMR customs, then just use 1 ton TRE's.
