Wobble only after a big bump?
I recently my first Cherokee(lifted 4") after moving on from Wrangler(lifted 7"). I never had this problem with the Wrangler. The cherokee drives fine on the road n highway at high speeds. My problem is when I hit a bump, the faster I am going the worse tires seem to go into the dreaded death wobble til I slow a bit to calm them down. Any pinpoint ideas I should look at. Just had the alignment done and put a new RC 2.2 steering stabilizer on. Gonna change out the shocks this weekend.

I'm going to guess that the issue is probably the shocks. Mine did the same thing and after i installed my lift (with new shocks), it went away and hasn't been back. If it persists, give your track bar a real hard look.

i have been facing death wobble for about a year now. this weekend i just now completely got rid of it and it feels like when i drove it stock when i bought it. on to what i did:
make sure you check your track bar bolt on the axle side. make sure the bushing is good and there is ZERO play in it. i then got a drop track bar bracket put on and it helped a lot.
i then upgraded to OTK steering from iron rock offroad.
check wheel bearing
check ball joints. that was another big issue for me
i got a IRO drop pitman arm and helped a lot too
and lastly what completely got rid of it was when i was looking at my steering stabilizer and it looked loose. so i when and just bought a new one since my was 3 years old anyway. i realized that my bushing in the stabilizer was shot and the metal sleeve was moving everywhere. so once i replaced the stabilizer and new bushings and metal sleeve, my death wobble was finally GONEEE after a year with the battle

basic 4" lift components from what I see bought it done already. He did say he put in a drop pitman arm. I upgraded the steering stabilizer and threw in new quality shocks from rough country. just had an alignment have to go over everything see if I can find something loose or out of whack.

Since it has a drop pitman arm, does it also have an extended upper track bar bracket? If your steering link and track bar are at different angles that can cause issue as well.

sounds like bump steer to me.
as mentioned, check to see if your track bar and drag link are running the exact same angle/line.
if you have a drop pitman arm, you need a drop track bar bracket to keep those two in line with each other.
