WJ coils on XJ?

I have read countless threads about V8 Grand Cherokee coils on the front of an XJ will net you AROUND 1-1.5" of lift.
But these threads are refering to ZJ Grands.

I have a pair stock WJ coils left over from out IRO lift on our 99 Limited 4.7 V8.
My 94 needs a little extra up front to level out.

Anyone ever used WJ coils? Will they fit? Would there be any gain?

No they won't fit. The top coil is wrong. You may be able to fab up a spacer or something to make them work, but you are better off finding one from a V8 ZJ.
