It's easy, you have to complete the circuit.
Positive: battery -> fuse -> + side of lights
Negative: - side lights -> switch -> ground.
Or
Positive: + side battery -> fuse -> switch -> lights
Negative: - side or ground -> - side of lights
Edit: assuming you're doing mild lighting
Positive: battery -> fuse -> + side of lights
Negative: - side lights -> switch -> ground.

Light bars don't pull much at all. Especially a 72W one. Any parts store sells plain ole 4 pin relays for a couple bucks. Or any 5 pin relay will work. Just ignore the center pin.

Holy hell go to autozone, get a 30/40a accessory relay and some crimp style connectors. Use 12ga. Wiring or 10 if you're gonna ever upgrade. 72w/12v=6a. You can wire it in an hour slightly more I you have to still mount light bar
