Default Wiring diagram

Hi, my name is Caspar. I live in Norway and I’m in the process of rebuilding an XJ with a 6.0 LS engine. The car was originally a 2.5-liter diesel, so I’m already struggling to find the correct wiring diagrams that match the wire colors.

I’m now trying to connect the LS ECU to the vehicle’s wiring harness, and I also need to keep the original diesel ECU in order for the instruments to function. I’ve found some wiring diagrams online, but I’m having trouble understanding the system used to show how the wire runs continue.

In the image marked with red arrows, there are some numbers that are obviously meant to indicate where the wires continue, but I don’t understand the system. Can anyone explain how these wiring diagrams are structured?

There aren’t many XJs in Norway, and none with an LS engine yet, so I don’t have many people to ask here.

Pretty sure the FSM has a description of how to read the diagrams on the first page of the wiring section. The bold text is the circuit name/description, the numbers in parenthesis are what page its on EX: you are on page 8W-10-9, and circuit S200 8W-10-10 would be on the page directly after this.

Edit: Found it

Those numbers are page and grid coordinates. For example, "90/B4" means you turn to page 90 of the manual and look at grid square B4. You'll find the other end of that wire there. They're cross-reference points to trace a circuit across multiple pages.
