Sweet thanks, yeah I just hooked up a new headunit three day's ago. So I'm not looking forward to getting into removing everything again. I really like how in the Cherokee it's hard for a thief to steal a headunit. You have the cover over it, and It's screwed on. On my Ranger you could rip it out if you wanted too.

the dash panel pops off... I ran mine under the glove box. I removed both front seats and lower plastic molding. Ran my power on driver's side with bass control and my RCA's down the passenger side. I used a 16 foot kit and wish I had a few extra feet of play. I took the opportunity to shampoo carpets while seats were out. Its easy to pull seats. 4 bolts each. Mine is hid and zip tied all the way back. Super clean and super bumpin.

I'm having trouble finding a way to go through the firewall.
I use an old cb antenna but you can use any thing stiff, tape the wire you want to route to it, poke a hole in the grommet you want to go thru with a knife, screwdriver etc and push the antenna with the wire taped to it thru the hole in the grommet. Once you can see the wire pull it thru and remove the tape. It works great running wire under the carpet too.

I mounted my mtx amp in the pocket in the passenger side cargo area, looked sweet and wasnt to obvious (with tinted windows). My new amp is bigger and sits over the hole and has air flow 360* around it. Under the back seat is good to but doesnt have much air flow...

Okay so I just finished running the wires. I ran the RCA and power wire. Wasn't that hard... Just tedious.

Hey, just my two cents here, but instead of drilling the floor I ran my positive.cord through the grommit where the hood latch release runs through the.fire wall
