Default Winters Shifter in a 97

Can anyone point me in the right direction for installing a Art Carr / Winters shifter into a 97 without sending any codes from the tcm. I think i have figured out everything I want to know about the shifter and I have researched Rad designs’ mod for the shifter, I just do not understand how I can trick the computer into not sending codes. Thanks!

The way I have it setup is with 100kΩ resistors inline with the RA Designs output wires. I remember reading somewhere the idea is to trick the TCM into thinking the solenoid load is still there. Mine isn't perfect though- if I drive all day with it in manual it'll eventually throw a code. Might take a different resistance...

I don't know about the shifter or wiring for it, but
will show you how to install an in-line resister. It really is a straight forward process
