Winch in back?

Thing about a rear mounted hitch (permanent) is it hurts your departure angle pretty bad. That's why I run the receiver set up front and rear. Don't have to buy 2 winches. You can put the winch in the back out of the weather and helps with some security.

I agree with being able to move the winch between front and rear. I set mine up with a socket in the winch tube and 2 1/2" copper posts mounted in plastic behind the receiver sockets. I ran 2 Ga battery cables from the positive pin to the battery. Now, I can swap the winch from front to rear by pulling the pin on the receiver .

Im thinkin of putting a tow truck winch in the cargo area that i found at the junk yard
And just drilling holes all the way to the frame i know its over kill but if the price is roght i may have to do it

it is probably hydraulic so you know, and let us know how drilling holes into the "frame" goes lol.
