Default will these tires fit?

I've got a wanted ad on craigslist for some 33's and a guy called and said he's got front tsl swampers 33x13.50r15 for front and for the back 33x14.50r15
would these work on my 15x8 rims without rubbing? debating whether wider on the back would look cool or not...opinions? 85 percent life left, he wants 700, said he paid 1300 for the set. Good deal? I was looking for 33x12.50r15, let me know yalls opinions, thanks!

They will fit the wheels. Depending on your bump-stops and trimming they will fit the Jeep. BUT you should never run differently sized tire on a XJ, especially with a 242 transfer case.

on 3" lift you will play hell getting those to fit...

as for the mismatched tires... as long as they measure the same height I would not really worry

but you need to actually measure them... not just assume that they are the same height

x2 You can make anything fit with a hacksaw and a hammer.

I have right at 4" of lift, trimmed fenders. I have the 33x12.5 TSLs on 15x8s. They rubbed a little on the back of the front wheel well, and the front on the back well. After flexing out pretty good they dented in the places where they rubbed. If you trim a little more you should be good

I personally wouldn't get two different size tires cause of the tcase. What happens when you rotate.

The slight difference in width shouldn't be an issue front to rear, height is the main concern unless you do a lot of street driving in 4wd. Since you didn't state the back spacing on the 8" wheel I guess they are aftermarket with 4" and with a 13-14" tire they will rub when turning up front and possibly on the rear leaves.
