Default Will this Alpine fit a 2000 Cherokee?

Hi everyone,

At first I would like to apologize because I'm a complete stereo noob.

I'm looking to get this:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDE1...er-reviews-tab

Its an Alpine CDE-133BT. Was wondering if any of you guys ran this at all. The site says that it will fit an XJ (it comes with a face plate) but I just wanted to check before I started throwing money lol.

Thanks again,
George

Yes what he said. You will need to buy a mounting kit and wiring harness if you don't want to cut the stock stereo plug off.

Here's the dash kit-- http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1203062...t.html?tp=3121

Here's the plug-- http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207018...s.html?tp=2977

Hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch bros!

Crutchfield is including the wiring harness and dash kit free with all stereos over $100 so I'll be getting them!

No problem. Question. Are you just wanting to replace the stock stereo or are you planning on adding a subwoofer and better speakers later on?

I only ask as I am very much into stereo's and would recommend this Alpine if you are planning on adding in the future.

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500HD13...T.html?tp=5684

It has 3 4 volt preamp outputs which will sound way better if you plan to upgrade in the future whereas the one you are looking at only has 2 2volt preamp outputs. I know it's a 100 bucks more, but in the long run you would be way happier.

Is that a new model from alpine? I was trying to find a bluetooth hd single din from them for a while but couldn't find anything.

Any single DIN radio will fit in just about any vehicle, with the proper face plate adaptor. Exceptions ofcourse being vehicles such as the Nissan Quest where the radio is spread out all over the center console.

Thanks guys! Dubnali, I think I'm just going to end up putting in a new head unit along with these in the front doors and rear headliner area:

I dont think I'll be going the subwoofer route just because of the costs and space needed to support it, but thank you for giving me that link!
