Default wierd brake pedal after renix to zj mod

As I wanted to get rid of the renix brake System i swapt to later XJ or ZJ parts.
I bought a 95 brake booster and a new master cylinder. the proportioning valve is still the one from the renix setup.
the brakelines are new, too.
I bleeded the Brakes 3 times but there is not the brake function as I want to have.
the pedal goes half the way with the same pressure (very soft) and the rest a bit harder.

Can anybody tell me what else to do?

You used the aluminum spacer between the booster and firewall?

Did you have ABS before?

It no longer has ABS?

You changed all the brake lines away from aBS and to standard lines?

You used ZJ parts not xJ parts from 95 to 96?

One thing, I wanted to bleed the prop valve but there only came fluid out behind the front nut. Not out of the bleed screw?!

I am not familiar with the zJ conversion. It's generally not done.

When I swapped my renix abs stuff out for a 1999-2004 Jeep WJ booster the pedal was initially soft, which I thought was really weird. But my abs pedal was way stiff compared to typical brake pedals, and now after the swap it is comparable in pedal stiffness. After bleeding the system a bunch to be sure all the air is out, the braking is a whole let better.
Have you bled all the air out of the system? Have you tried using the brakes to see if they work even?

I got rid of my Renix ABS system as well... I grabbed a booster/master cyl from an old junkyard Wagoneer. I did not run new lines, probably the reason my pedal feels a bit soft but overall the brakes work MUCH better than they did with the broken ABS system...
