I have a rc series II 3" lift with new lca's. I was putting on my new track bar yesterday and noticed that when the pass side is drooped out, the bumpstop perch hits the coil. But the driver side clears perfectly fine. Does anyone know why is is like this? Would i be okay to just put a shim on the pass side control arm, or should i do both sides? Would that fix my problem and would it affect my caster negativly? Heres some pics

It is normal for the arms to pull the axle back as they droop due to geometry, but the fact that one side pull further back than the other shows that either one side on the axle isnt dropping as far, or that something needs to be adjusted in your linkage setup (i.e. controls arms, trackbar) Judging by your pictures the passenger side looks to be located further back than the drivers side, shimming/adjusting the passenger side control arms further will probably fix this

Well i just went outside and measured and the axle is 1/2" towards the driver side. Sucks because i thought i had it centered yesterday so i took it to the shop and got it aligned and now i have to mess up the alignment to get it centered. :/

I did it myself when i first got the lift because i knew i was getting the track bar a few months later. It just makes me nervous doing it myself because i dont want to ruin my tires. I really just want some new adj uppers and lowers so i can push the axle an inch or two foreward.

Just adjust the track bar a little more than 1/2" longer. Because it is at an angle the track bar length and horizontal axle position arent 1:1. If you want it exact you can use Pythagorean theorem to find the right numbers.
