Who has done OBA... tank question.
On the OBA, I have a 7gal tank that Id like to use. Its one of those "pig" tanks that you can fill up and put in the trunk of your car.( http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1075619407.jpg )
What is good is that these tanks are super cheap. Whats bad is that they only have one bung. Is it worth drilling the tank out and welding in some couplers for other bungs? Or just buy a long slim tank.
Or hell, what about using just the one bung? Have the air from the compressor feed into the one bung but also use that bung for airing up tires. Does the air have to go in its own hole and have the usable air come out another? Seems like if the compressor is running the tank wouldnt fill if Im trying to use the air.

You can use the one bung.
The only reason you may want more than one is for speed.
The bigger the line/ports the fast the air is going to come out of the hose.
The same concept will be true no matter where the bung is.
For what you want to do, you'll be fine using the one bung.
The only down fall is adding a shut off valve. You'd have to add a shut off valve right past the T for the air line.
