I'm finally putting on my Hellas tomorrow morning. I built the mounts today and figured out all the wiring. Anyways, where do y'all think would be a tasteful place to put the rocker switch? I don't want it next to the rear defroster and wiper as I do not like the 'rectangle, rectangle, circle look. I am thinking on the dash between the steering wheel and center vents. Where have you put yours?

Also, I'm assuming the best way through the firewall would be through the big grommet on the driver's side? Do I just pop it off with a screwdriver or what?

I have never done anything like this so I thought I would consult the good folks at CF.

I just made a slit in that large grommet, ran my wires through, and then put a bead of caulk over the hole. This is what I did with my switches:

Remove your ashtray; find a scrape plastic something laying around the barn and cut out the shape of your ashtray hole; cut out the slots for your switches and wire it up.

We had one made...

 

I like that custom panel !!! What if you want to keep the ashtray for extra keys, tic-tacs, etc.
