When is a transmission cooler a good idea?

If your in the Northern Climates, its not a bad idea to run the cooler, then the rad mounted cooler. This will warm the fluid slightly before it hits the trans, but still significantly cool the fluid. For everyone south of the Mason Dixon, run the fluid into the rad, then to the cooler. If your stuck in traffic, with no air flow the cooler in the rad will save your bacon.
