General consensus is about 4.5+ inches but it really varies from truck to truck. Whether you have an auto or manual trans can play into it too, as the manual trans is shorter, so you wouldn't need to go as high to run a SYE. My truck has about 3.5" of lift in the rear and is a manual, I have plenty of room to convert to an SYE when I'm ready to.

mine is an auto..so the auto might not need one(for a little while that is) with 5 inches of list? also do i need to do a drop on my t case with 5 inchs or should it be fine? looking to still keep it a nice smooth ride as i drive it daily for now.

also love your SIG MetalGear!

SHimming of axles and a AX-15 crossmember (manual transmission crossmember) will give you good angle's. Thanks
