Anyway. Im running 1.5" spacers all around from trail gear.. no issues, and I beat the **** outta my jeep.. Previously had spacers on my toyota, abused it even more than said jeep and also never had an issue..

run them and enjoy the clearance
I gave my input. With cherokees it probably doesn't matter, but depending on the car it puts undue stress on the hubs/bearings/joints/etc.

Let's look at it this way. If you going to get 4 spacers and say they are 99 a pair, you could as a few others stated get a nice set of cragar steel wheels for 230 with shipping from summit. I just bought a set of cragar V5's, 15x8 with 3.75 BS. No rubbing in turns. And I am running 31's, but also have Rough Country Lower control arms on a 4 inch ish lift. I haven't had a chance to measure flex for rubbing as I don't have a good spot to flex right now. Just am option instead of keeping stock 15x7's on their, unless you love them. 15x8 gives you option to put a wider tire on as well, something you can't do on 7's.
