I would like to know if I can put a 95 head on my 2000 xj that has coil on plug

The bosses for the coils aren't there on the 95, but that can be worked around. I do believe your block has alignment pins though that 95 didn't have holes for. You may need a head off a 97-98

The only other problem beside the bolt holes for the coil pack will be the port sizes. But if your gonna buy a new head why not just buy the right one , an aftermarket head has all the issue's of cylinder # 3 and # 4 fixed, if you got a j/y head I would still have it checked so a new head isn't far off price range when having to rebuild a head. but good luck

Where are you finding your aftermarket heads? the only one I can find is almost 2 grand.
