Default Wheel Spacer Question

This is my first Jeep so forgive my ignorance.

I recently purchased a set of Jeep Wrangler 'Ravine' wheels that I plan on putting on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ.

I wanted to add some 1.5 inch wheel spacers to make the Jeep have a wider stance. I've been looking at wheel spacers and most of them say 4.5" to 5.5" 1.5 inch spacers.

What does the 4.5" to 5.5" mean? Are those the correct wheel spacers that I need? I'm just curious because I want to make sure I order the right thing instead of the wrong thing.

Thanks in advance!

It just means they will fit on a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern Your Cherokee. Or a 5 on 5.5 lug nut pattern popular on newer wranglers.

Basically it will fit on yours.

Sure ur not looking ay conversion spacers? Like adapting a cj wheel(5x5.5) to a 5x4.5(xj) hub? They do make those. I have a set.

ahhh yes I seen those too. Oops. Don't buy lol. I guess on my search I just seen the ones where you could run both 4.5 or 5.5.

Post a link of the desired product. Also. When you decide to order I always call them up. You can sometimes get a better deal talking to a real person and they will be able to tell you if it is the product you need. I never order online anymore. It is just way better and you generally save money.

If you plan on having a few jeeps and swapping parts around a set of conversion spacers is quite handy to have.

I've been looking at a bunch of them from numerous different places. All I need is a 1.5 inch wheel spacer that will make my wheels stick out a little further. I don't need any conversion spacers or anything like that.

Having said this, if anyone would like to point me in the direction of a decently priced set of 1.5 inch wheel spacers to accomplish what I'm looking for, feel free!

Thanks =]

Thanks guys! I'll probably just call them first and make sure I'm ordering the right thing. 10% off though is good so thanks for the heads up on that one =]
