Just want to verify this before I make an order. Finally picked out my tires after days of meditation and counsel from the highest order of mentors. Decided on STT's. Going to be running either soft 8's or D windows. I normally order wheels off summit. Is there better options? Going to be running 31x10.5x15 for tires and 3.5" of lift and was wondering on the backspacing? 3.50/3.75/4.00 Which one of these would the jeep gods suggest a mere pheasant like myself run?

Depends on where you are located in the USA and what your gun laws consist of.

I'm sure you'll be fine with 4" of BS. But I'd go with 3.75 just because I like the stance

 

Less back spacing means wider stance correct. By wider I mean tires stick out farther?

 

And summit seems to be the best on prices that I've seen.

I used to have 3.75 and it looked really good, 3.50 would give a little wider of a stance but I like the way it looks IMO , prob 3.75 would be your best bet

 

3.75 gets a good stance and is enough for 33x12.50s, so when you go bigger (those little 31s will look small soon lol) they won't rub

 

Yes the less backspacing, the further tires will stick out. If you plan on going to a bigger tire in the future, go with 3.75 now. If not, 4 will be fine for you

to give you an idea i'm running 31x10.50x15 on 15x8 soft 8 wheels with 3.75'' BS. Fronts have no flares, rears do
