The lights look great!. I was looking at getting those HL's but not sure, since I can't seem to find answers to a couple questions, maybe you can help. Near as I can tell, it doesn't look like they have any adjustment- am I missing something? Also you mentioned you had problems with HID's for them, mind if I ask what kinds of problems you were having? (didn't fit, HID kit themselves just didn't work, poor light output, etc?) Thanks.
Well.... There was supposedly adjustment on the side of the housings... But far as I can tell, they do nothing. But, I have a 4 inch lift and they are angled pretty spot on.
I couldn't find an HID kit to work... Every HID kit I tried, either wouldn't turn in at all, or would not turn on, but not have brights, or what have brights but not low beams.
The housing is a bi-xenon housing, meaning there is a little flap in there that changes the beam of light coming out, the actual light does not get brighter.
Getting that little flap should have all been plug and play... But getting it to work with the ballasts just wouldn't work with any HID kit I tried.
I ended up finding some LED bulbs... Which required some pretty decent modification... They aren't as bright as HID, But I am happy with them... Still an improvement over what I had!
I am going to get some LED spot lights that shine out 600 feet, and mount them eventually, but they are 300$ a piece... I'm Having a hard time justifying them...

Cool, thanks for the update. I'm still a little torn on which way to go. I have now bought, and returned three different sets of housings, and HID's, because they just didn't work like I wanted. I do like the look of the "accessory" LED's in the side of the D-Spec housing, so I'm not sure.
I was just about to pull the trigger on (another) set of 200mm Euro housings, and a good projector housing, but that would cost as much or more than I have found the D-Spec's for.
I have a good set of Bi-xenon HID's that I have already tested and know work (the magnetically actuated ones, that pull the bulb in for High) so I will prob run those. Have to figure out how those will work in conjunction with the shutter on the projector housings though.
Yeah, if I could afford the Trucklite LED's or something similar, I would just go that way, but I have already spent more than I can on this thing, and I'm not even close to done....

What do you mean how did I do them?
They are spec-d tubing projector headlights for jeep cherokee
They are awesome! I love the look and I did the extra work to wire in amber colored LED bulbs for my turn signal.
Had to wire in resister blocks from oreillys so they blink at normal speed, the LEDs draw less current, making the computer think a bulb is burnt out, therefor making the bulbs blink very fast.

F××× the haters. I have those same headlights and I love them and I can't find anybody else that has information on them so I really hope you can help. Which headlight wiring harness kit upgrade should I go with for the H7's? I keep seeing H4 headlight wiring harness upgrades but wouldn't think that it would plug into the H7 or work for the H7 bulbs. Did you upgrade your wiring harness too? Thanks for any of your help!
So, i layed out every single part of every single HID kit i had... Then i pieced together a kit with balances from one kit, lights from another, and the harness from another one.
I hate that i cant be much help, I can tell you i ended up using H7 bulbs. I am sorry i cant be anymore help than that... But I see that your post was from in november anyways... SO i hope youw ere able to figure it out!:]

Beach Bum
Update, as mentioned earlier I got the idea to mount a light bar in the bumper from this thread and it works great.
Recently, having fun off-road in the snow I went into the trees and brush. Bent up the left side of bumper and it's bracket and also fender. Plastic bits went flying.
The light bar still works fine..

What do you have so far? Have you tried anything as of yet?
Honestly, you should be able to get just about any H7 HID kit to work.
My problem was, I could get lights to work but I could never get the brights to function properly.
It Wasent until I'd spent money on multiple kits that I realized the Spec-D projector housings are Bi-Xenon projector housings. Therefore do not require Bi-Xenon projector bulbs.
The trick is getting the projector housing to work with the wiring... It requires splicing wires into wires... Trick is knowing which wires.
If you can give me some more information on what you already have and what exactly you are trying to do, I will do my best to help you out!
