i just sold some junk so now i got @ $500 burnin a hole in my pocket. i want dirtbounds new rear bumper, but i think i need an sye and or locker in the rear. it's not my dd but 80% of it's time is spent on road. wife wants a/c fixed, but what's the fun in that. drive line vibes are minimal. if i get a locker it would be a no-slip.

what i got so far:
1989 2 door
4.0
aw4
4" lift
31" tires
ironman adjustable arms
ironman motor mounts
ironman tie rod
adjustable track bar
quick disconnects
d30 locked, alloy usa seals, still has cad system (3.55)
d35 but i have an 8.25 in the shed waiting to go in (3.55)
custom front bumper with mile marker sec8
hella 550 lights
roof rack
gas tank skid

would love to re-gear to 4.56 but that's closer to $1000

what would you do?

thanks

Still would be good for protection. Doors that can open are better then ones that cant.

8.8" for a rig on 31's?

Waste of money.
The OP's 8.25" is a great axle for up to 35's.

Don't get the NoSlip. As much as I like them I've removed them from my site. Motive Gear (Midwest Truck) has purchased Richmond gear and will no longer be manufacturing the NoSlip. Basically you'll be screwed if you need replacement parts. Detroit or ARB.

I have no plans to ever go bigger than 33's. I have had these tires for two years and have put 3500 miles on them. so it's gonna be a while.

Rock sliders , It doesn't matter if you don't play in rocks they protect the body from damage and will keep your doors opening and closing like they should
