Default What size suspension lift?

I have a 96 4x4 Cherokee and I want to put 33s on it. How much of a lift do I need to get? It has Firestone Destination MT 30s now.

I'd go with a 4.5 and do some minor trimming on the fenders. It depends if you want alot of flex & what you'll be using it for, mud, rocks.

It will mainly be for mud and sand. I won't ever climb with it

So a 5 inch suspension lift would be the best without having to trim?

Lol. If I wanted to go with 35s wouldn't I have to do something with the gears?

go long arm, You dont want the back tires to loose center of wheel well.
5'' will be perfect

Not familiar with a lot of terms I guess. What do you mean by long arm?

It's a type of suspension kit. You either get short arms or long arms. Referring to your control arms.

The lift comes with new control arms, the higher you go the closer the tires travel inword.get long arm ,thats probley what it comes with anyway,it'll keep tires centered in fenders.& more travel. do your reserch and get opinions

No I haven't. I won't be offroading a lot but I would like to buy good stuff. With a 5" body lift can I fit 35s without rubbing? Also if I put 35s, will the gears need to be changed?
