i have coil sprigs for my xj, they came with my jeep, but the guy i got the jeep from wasnt too sure if they were 3in. or 4.5 in. of lift. all i know is that theyre measured 19 in. tall not on the jeep. they are used too so that may make a difference, but could anyone shed some light on this for me?

only way to find out is to do the math or ask the MFG. It takes length, wire size, # of coils to determine spring rate, once you have the rate you can calculate the lift. OR through them on and find out. My 3.5" lift springs are 1" shorter than the stockers, length alone wont tell anything.
