Default What size lift kit

I have recently bought a jeep cherokee xj stock and came with a lift kit uninstalled and lift kit is used and they told me it was a rough country 5.5in lift kit but the rc never made that size for xj trying to figure out the size of kit before in stalling it the front coil springs were red at one time before...... Is there any way I can measure the coil spring it's self and find out the size

Look on the coils and leafs, and see if there's any marking or part number. Most are marked with the lift amount, unless it's rubbed off already. Post some pics, it will help.

Some companies have their coil spring lengths on the website. You can see if rough country has anything.

Never seen RC in red, usually gray or rarely black. Red is Skyjackers color.

Without some sort of markings, you may never know. The red paint could be factory, or spray bombed by the previous owner. Those look like they've seen some use.

If you don't have very much into them you may want to consider scraping that lift and going with a 3". If in fact if that is a 5.5" it will cost you quite a bit more to install it that just the kit in extras needed for the install that would not be needed with a shorter lift.

I just counted my 4.5" lift coils at 11 rings tall and my 3" coils at 10 rings tall, you got 11 there
