Sadly, my bone stock XJ doesn’t come with a rear wiper blade, and i’m looking to add one. I know i’ll need the wiper motor, the switch, and maybe wiring, but would I need a relay somewhere? And is the wiring already there, it just needs to be plugged in?

Your 95 should have all the wires in the liftgate.
In your dash there will be a couple connectors that are not hooked up since you have the BASE model like me.
Autozone sells the switch new. I wanna say it is like 20-30 dollarsish??? I posted the part number a while back here on the forum.
You can actually just cut the cover plastic where it mounts in the dash with a utility knife. Or you can score the factory wiper switch mount from a JY.
Also your XJ all ready has a washer fluid line that runs to the back of your Jeep, but you would need to run a line down for the washer in the lift gate, as well as score a dual washer pump bottle from a JY.
I wanted both a rear wiper, and the heated rear glass for my XJ since I live where we get snow. My Cherokee had a pretty bad crack in the fiberglass hatch, so I just opted to finding a rear hatch in good shape with those features.
