Thought about just using one of them flexy Ext. cord ties, or putting in a safety clasp N chain/cable.
What are the rest of you using to hold the disconnects out of the way when wheeling?
My dad never had a swaybar on the JY or TJ's he built and he explained them to me, so now that I get to wheel this thing, I'd like to disco and go, but I don't want them just clunking around.
We share the forum but he says, if you wanna know, you gotta ask, so I'm getting involved and putting in my fiar share on here.

Bungee cord can work,If i remember right one brand had a mount that let it hook to that while its unhooked from the sway bar you could rig something like that up.

My rough country discos came with little brackets that are supposed to be bolted to the inner fender.

With that being said, they're still in the bag and my swaybar has been bungee corded up for about a year and a half.

Used the bar mounts that came with the RE discos, fabbed a small bracket using some bent 1" flat stock aluminum bolted to a threaded bolt hole in the body rail just behond the sway bar mount

^^^ That there's a really cool idea actually. Might have to get my dad to fab something up for me out of all the aluminum he's got and make the pin hole for it too. Thanks for sharing that.

I wanted to Sizemic2's idea, but I don't the clearance. Instead, I fabbed up a homemade version of DPG's holders. Not sure I came out ahead on price, but they work great!

They look a lot longer than they actually are in the photo. Tire clearance is not an issue. 32" MTs on RE 3.5" lift don't come into contact even at full compression. On the driver's side, the pitman arm of the steering box just barely touched when turning full lock in one direction. I just bent it back towards the tire a few millimeters and problem solved. If you meant ground clearance, these are higher than the sway bar and almost on top of the axle so I can't imagine that being an issue.

Cost wise and ease of use a package of $.99 zip ties from the Dollar Store is hard to beat.
