Just got my JCR sliders in and im not sure what to paint them with. Bedliner, hammered texture rustoleum? generous amounts of primer? what has worked best for you guys?

 

I used several coats of roll on bed liner on my YJ's sliders. Worked really well. Its just messy to do.

 

If you wheel it, the paints going to get scratched. I used spray on bedliner, and can touch it up easily.

 

I use Rustoleum Truck bed liner. As long as you do 4 to 5 coats of primer, then 6 to 8 coats of the liner it will work very well. And as a member said above, its nice because when you scratch it, you just repaint it. Much more cost effective then powdercoating IMO.

They all beat me to it, bed liner. I use dupli-color spray on bed armor for stuff... although my front skid is all I've ever had to paint, it gives a really nice finish too!
