What lunchbox locker?
So i'm looking at gettin a lunchbox locker for the rear in my 8.25. I'm looking at a Spartan, aussie, or the powertrax no slip. there really any major differences or they pretty much the same? Thoughts?

I emailed them about a month ago, they said they would have them available in three weeks. I recently check their website and they show them to be in stock now, Dana 30's anyway.

if you keep an eye on their site you can catch them in stock. i out money aside to get one but they were still out of stock. spent the money on a different project for the XJ then they came back in stock! not cool but good to know they are still making em.
As far as tire wear, how bad is an aussie/spartan or any other locker going to be in the rear?

I had two aussie's and had major problems with both of them. I recently ordered a spartan to replace the aussies.
Have not installed it yet but if it performs and installs anything like the front one (which they said its identical to the dana 30 just larger) then it should be a solid choice.
Just my 0.02. Aussie did take care of me with the issues and I have no complaints about customer service from them. Just taking 2 of them out and putting them in was enough to make me try something else.

I ordered a Powertrax No-Slip about a week ago. Back ordered due to Richmond Gear being bought out by Motive Gear. So, it should get here in about two weeks. Paid 450. Went with the Powertrac after hearing of issues with Aussie and Spartan.

The biggest confusion is between the Lock Rite (richmond) and Powertrax (also richmond). The Lock Rite is what fails due to the small pins and springs.
