i wanna buy lock rite lockers for my xj where would be a better place for the noslip one i was thinking rear and a normal lock rite in the front i would like both to be noslip but one is 410 and the other is 263

what would be best?

X2 but unless you're set on lockrights get an aussie or spartan. They are bigger, stronger, cheaper and the springs will last longer than a year. I've got a lockright for a D44 that has less than a year on it and the teeth are chipped off and it was set up to spec, springs wore which made it sit uneven and break.

Thats the same as a powertraxx right? there is nothing wrong with that, but I would not go cheap fro the rear is where i am coming from. The front is not abused as much as the rear, so that one needs to be a bit stronger and able to last longer.... If it makes you feel better though, I am looking at a very similar locker myself since I can't seem to find the aussie either

 

If you can't find the aussie get a spartan. Mine is holding my 38s and asking for more. And like aussie they don't have a tire size limit like lockright.

They powertrax and spartan work basically the same only difference is the powertrax is quieter. I ran aussies front and rear for years and loved them. Like stated the powertrax isn't a LSD it's a locker but uses a different type of spring so you don't hear it ratchet.

 

Do you know anyone who ran a powertrax no slip?

Still more than a spartan and spartan's warranty covers tires bigger than 31s, lockrights don't. That's why I have a broken one in a box in the garage, they wouldn't cover it because I told them I ran 35s. They won't warranty anything bigger than 31s even on a D60.
