There is a whole world of info and opinions on lift brands already available on the forum: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/al...go-here-10579/
Both of those companies get some positive feedback. Depends on what you plan to use your XJ for and how much $$ you want to drop. It's a matter of opinion in the end man. Give that thread a read and you should have a good grasp on what's out there!

OME 943 coils, 2" MD leaf packs (maybe longer shackle), your choice of shocks bilstein 5100, OME, or JK rubico shocks with BPE.. wilsonfabworks.com for sye and extra front stock d-shaft should work.

At 3" you wont need a sye. And both those lifts are real nice, but way overpriced. Rough country has about the same quality as RE yet are much cheaper, and have a lifetime warranty as well as great customer service

rough country and re are nowhere near the same quality. have you run both lifts to confirm your statement? i have. buy the re kit if you dont want to replace your ca bushings/joints all the time. re runs stock rubber bushings, which last longer, flex, and ride better than any poly bushing out there.
rough countrys spring rates are higher resulting in a harsher ride as well.
i personally, like to put my parts on my jeep, and never worry about them again.
cheaper is pretty much never better..........

i love my ironrockoffroad lift... i had a skyjacker once and hated it.. at least compared to the long arms ironrock offers.. much better on the road... much better offroad.. i havent had a problem in 50,000 plus miles with it.. as for quality, T&T , clayton, IRO, rock krawler are at the top of my list... followed by procomp, fabtech then skyjacker.. those are the ones i have tried/friends/family have tried.. rustys getts good reviews on here, then theres warrior, Old man Emu, rough country, tuff country, superlift, terraflex... lol more than i care to list... I find the custom/small company stuff is almost always better than the large brands and is almost always cheaper... for the skyjacker 6.5 "rock ready" kit which isnt long arm and was way chincier than the IRO they ask for around 2200.. thats almost 1000 more than my IRO with quick disconects and blisten shocks which is way better (had both)... just my .02C Originally Posted by hudfabxj

x2. Price often indicates quality. That being said, plenty of people prefer Rough Country over RE and will swear by that brand. All you're going to get is a bunch of opinions, and I think you should take a good look at your budget, buy a complete kit that fits what you want to spend, and start forming your own opinions. It's easy to over think this stuff.
FWIW, I went with a ProComp 3" and have been very happy - moderately priced lift, solid quality, and lifetime warranty - a good value IMO.

out of the ones i have tried (skyjacer 6.5 and an old rancho) yes.. my brother has the rock krawler.. buddy has clayton... they are all a little more $$$ i think IRO is deffinitly the best bang for the buck... like i said 50,000 miles no squeeks or breaks or even rust on the lift... i am very happy with it. Wouldnt ever buy skyjacker again unless i had like a f250 or something..Originally Posted by RyXJ2000
I want a 100% complete lift kit. Is IRO the best?

Yes sir I have ran both. As well as many others. By the way no poly bushings on my rc lift, was rubber and x-flex. And using price to compare quality is a never good idea.Originally Posted by hudfabxj

you are comparing a bently and a pinto in my book.....and no matter what, there are those people that would still rather have the pinto.
we arent all gonna agree on this, that was just my .02. eveyone on here is gonna defend their lifts they run. mine is all custom, so i am just giving my thoughts and experience.

like i said before....cheaper is pretty much never better....that is a fact, not a comparison.
So I guess I'd like to know which co to go with that is Great Quality and has a 100% complete kit for under $1k
