I have a old rc 3'' aal pack and coils on my xj. added 2'' coils spacers on the front, and the whole truck appears level now.

I need shocks now. I could buy the 2-4'' rc nitros, but I have heard you should buy the next size above your lift. So should I buy the shocks for for 4-6'' lift? will they give me more flex-ability? And will they hurt my down travel, with the body being longer?

 

flex it out and take your measurements for extended and compressed length. i never trust a shock that advertises working for a 2-4" lift. you many variable to play with. do it right the first time

 

measure your jeep when flexed out and compressed. then call RC and tell them your measurements. end of thread.
