Thinking about doing the linear deal on the bottom part of my jeep should i use roll on or spray? and what kind should i get?

I just bought some spray, I haven't used it yet but I kinda regret it. I've read that roll on is better.

If you want it to be super durable do the rubber undercoat spray on first then go over it with roll on. Rocks will bounce right off
