What happens to old track bars?
I'm curious. I just replaced the OEM track bar in my '99XJ. The ball joint is loose/easy-to-move-by-hand but not "broken". I replaced it because it was making a popping sound as I'd start turning the wheel either way. 'nuff said.
Q: Is the ball joint replaceable? Is it pressed in-and-out? Is it worth reselling the track bar to someone who has the wherewithall to replace the ball joint? Is it trash?
