Thumbs up What do have for a lift kit?

I have been thru the link on every lift posted by Kyle and it's very informative. Now I would like to know who has what on their XJ. I would like to lift my 93XJ 2dr/5spd 4x4 but I dont wanna go to tall or to small. I have read on some threads that some lift kits advertised lift could actually be taller depending on the kit your using. Is this true? If you have your XJ lifted and could help me out with info and pics of what the heights look like it would help me. Kind of wanna roll on 32's but dont wanna go 4.5" if not needed. I have seen a 2wd lifted on 31's with 3" of lift but its 2 WHEEL DRIVE!! Looked good though. Thanks in advanced.

It comes down to if you want to trim your fenders or not. If yes then at a 3" lift and 32s the fenders will have to be trimmed. Depending where you live check with your state vehicle laws with fender flares.
As far as who has what on their xj majority of people have different things. Some people buy a complete kit while others have parts from multiple manufacturers. I would first get a shackle relocation box on the rear and go from there. Depending how your leaf packs are is how much lift you will get.
A 3" lifted xj is a good starting point. Once you get above that then you need to worry about a lot of other parts like adj control arms, sye, brake lines, etc. My 2.5" lift cost me about $100 bucks, found some parts local. That's with coils, shocks, bastard pack and adj lca with new bushing in them.

Here's another with the DPG/OME 3.5 Super Ultimate on 31x10.50 Cooper STT. Soon to be trimmed with Rusty's armor/flares and possibly 33x10.50.
I removed a Rough Country to replace it. SYE was already in place.

Rubicon Express 3.5" with full leaf packs. It definitely sits higher than 3.5" and it's still settling a bit. I'm running 31x10.5s with zero trimming and I know I could fit 32s under there even with no trimming. I'd probably rip my fenders off flexing though.

SWEET!! I like the RE kit for 3.5" of lift and 32"s. I feel I won't have to trim the wheel wells or that I would have rubbing issues while flexing. The 93 is older and I believe the wells and fenders are larger than later years. I have seen one just yesterday locally and I will ask the guy what he's running for a lift and tire combo. Soon as she is lifted I will post some pics, before and after. Thanks guys.

I'm looking at the RE 3.5 I don't have any flares on and probably won't flex a whole bunch but with 32's did you have to trim at all? I would prefer not to trim. I'm driving a 94 xj. If I have to stick with a comfortable 31" that's fine but if 32"s fit clean on that lift it would be fantastic

The wheel wells on a 96 and older are slightly different then the ones on the 97+. I had to trim the bottom lower plastic part on my 99 to keep it from rubbing when going down my driveway. You should be fine though since you removed your flares already.

I have a Rustys 3" full spring pack and run 33x12:50x15's with a small amount of trimming required.
