Default what bump stop's for a 3" lift

I have a 99 XJ and was wondering what size bump stops should I get for 3 inch lift and 31 inch tires

Depends on a lot. Every rig is different.

Size tires,

Fenders trimmed or not

etc.......


I use 2.5in over stock in front and about the same in the rear. 33 tires. Fenders trimmed and disconnected.

No trimmed fenders not disconnected from swaybar

You have to flex your suspension to figure out what size bump stops you need. I put hockey pucks inside the coil spring.

If your not disconnecting your swaybars then you shouldn't need extended bumpstops. I ran mine with 3.5" lift and 31's with stock bumpstops/not trimmed for several years and never had any big issues with rubbing while disconnected.
