Looks to me like a ford axle.......pass side drop.

Could also be a FSJ waggy axle

Yeah I am thinking ford... the rear looks like a 14 bolt... they both are sitting under a 90's tahoe, some one did a solid axle swap... so they could easily be non-matching

Being its a 88-98 truck those never came solid axle and all the sas kits for it use a ford front axle because of the driver side drop t case.Look around the edge of the diff cover it should be stamped on the housing 44 or 60.Take a picture of the hubs those can tell which axle it is.

Ok, will it need to be de-coded or will there be a 44 or 60 stamped around the cover somewhere?

Once you figure out what axle it is if its a dana 60 if you can give me the spring pad widths i can tell you if its 70s or 90s.

go back and look again, and clean the webbing near the 9F......it WILL have a number there if it is a dana axle

My bet is it actually says 44-9F....which would be a 79-86 ford front dana 44 with the 8.9 ring gear from a f150/250, and if follows like it did on my dodge, it is a full time axle too.

You really need the BOM number form the axle tube (see diagram I posted a few links above)
.

It is a ball joint axle so if you give the spring pad widths i can id it now.
