Default what about the yokes?

i gotta pull the front driveshaft, but i dont know if the yokes will remain in place allowing me to drive w/o risk of getting **** in the there. anybody know for sure. its a 99 xj with a np242 and d30. thanks.

The front driveshaft does not have a slip yoke at the transfer case and can be removed with no problems.

ok cool. so does that mean they are fixed yokes? im vague on this stuff. any info is good! thanks.

Yes fixed yokes at the transfer case and front differential.
