Weird vibration/wobble in steering wheel
So trying to diagnose a vibration (I think I'm getting the drive shaft vibration issue cause by lifting). I decided to pull the rear drive shaft and drive in 4wd. Drove around in 4WD, every time I would make a left or right hand turn, there is a strange squeaking/grinding noise like metal on metal coming from what sounds like the driver front tire. There is also a "wobble" or vibration in the steering wheel while turning.
It ONLY happens when turning AND accelerating. If I'm just turning, it feels normal. I took a corner at about 25mph, and experienced no wobble or sound. I tried taking the corner while accelerating, and the sound and wobble was there.
Any ideas? I'm guessing maybe CV joint?
Thanks

Check the u joint in the axle shaft on the driver's side, and the unit bearing (wheel bearing) on that side. Jack up just that corner and roll that wheel forward and back by hand while watching the u joint for play.
